Creating Impact, Changing Lives
Last Wednesday was Bukit Batok Toastmasters Club Installation Night. I conducted a 10min talk on the "New Competent Leadeship Manual". It was a sharing session on how the leadership manual can help a member acquire essential leadership skills that are used in everyday life.
The ten essential skills that you can expect to develop are:
1. Listening
2. Critical Thinking
3. Giving Feedback
4. Time Management
5. Planning & Implementing
6. Organizing & Delegating
7. Facilitation Skills
8. Motivating People
9. Mentoring
10.Team Building
After my presentation, Distinguished ToastMaster Poh approached me and said he like my presentation and requested for my slides as reference.
So I happily agreed and send to him. Unknowingly, he forwarded to all the Division B Govenors and even recognized my work. I am indeed flattered by the endorsement :D
Yeah, it is a great feeling that my small effort of doing a 10 min presentation can change the lives of others...Hope they will practise their Competent Leadership Manual and go for greatness!
